Sara Lucibello
Biography
Dr. Sara Lucibello is a cardiologist at the Rehabilitation Cardiology Unit at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
She graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia with honors in 2008. In 2014, she achieved her specialization in Cardiovascular Diseases with honors at the University of Pavia.
Since 2014, Dr. Lucibello has been working as a cardiologist at Policlinico San Donato.
Dr. Lucibello performs ward duties and manages the clinical care and development of individual rehabilitation programs for patients recently undergoing valve and coronary heart surgery or those suffering from acute and chronic heart failure or chronic ischemic heart disease.
She also conducts outpatient clinical activities, handling diagnostic assessment, follow-up, and therapeutic management of patients with cardiovascular diseases of various etiologies such as:
- Ischemic heart disease
- Heart failure
- Valve diseases
- Arterial hypertension
- Arrhythmias
She is an expert in non-invasive diagnostics (transthoracic echocardiogram) and serves as a cardiology consultant in the Emergency Department.
Dr. Lucibello has been a member of SICOA (Italian Society of Hospital Cardiologists) since 2015.
She also holds dual certification as:
- BLS Rescuer by the American Heart Association
- ACLS Rescuer by the American Heart Association
She participates in numerous clinical trials and national conferences as a speaker. She has 13 publications in international scientific journals.
