Andrea Menozzi
Biography
Dr Andrea Menozzi is a plastic surgeon at Casa di Cura La Madonnina, where he performs surgical treatment of lymphedema.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan in 2003 and in 2009 he specialized in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.
He spent his fifth year specializing in the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Reconstructive Microsurgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, USA, where he studied microsurgical and post-cancerous procedures for the treatment of lymphedema. In 2009, he also obtained a Master's Degree in Microsurgery at the Hospital Ospedali Riuniti di Ancona - Polytechnic University of Marche.
In 2010 Dr Menozzi became a Level I medical supervisor of the integrated Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Hospital A.O. Fatebenefratelli e Oftalmico in Milan and is currently the Acting Head of the Integrated Plastic Surgery Department of the ASST Fbf - Sacco, Presidio Fatebenefratelli e Oftalmico. In addition, he collaborates as a doctor in private practice with the Casa di Cura La Madonnina Clinic, where he performs surgical treatment of lymphedema.
Dr Menozzi has worked with Dr C. Becker as part of her work in lymphedema surgery in Paris (2017). During this period, he developed an interest in lymph node transplantation and other related surgeries.
A year later, together with Dr Massimo Soresina and Dr Pierdenisa Giardini, he founded the Specialised Centre for the diagnosis and treatment of primary and secondary lymphedema at the Casa di Cura La Madonnina Clinic www.centrolinfedema.it.
