Cristiana Balbino

Dr. Cristiana Balbino is an orthopedic surgeon at the Knee Surgery and Traumatology Unit of the IRCCS Galeazzi - Sant’Ambrogio Hospital. She is an orthopedic consultant at the Aerospace Medicine Institute of Milan, part of the Italian Air Force.

After earning her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia in 1994, she specialized in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Milan in 2000.

As an assistant in the unit, Dr. Balbino performs both surgical and outpatient activities for all knee-related and orthopedic conditions.

She is currently serving as Principal Investigator for two research studies named 3D-FLORA and DIAMANT.

She has several publications in scientific journals and collaborations in specialized monographs on knee surgery to her credit. She also regularly participates, often as a speaker, in national and international conferences in the field.
