Fabio Minicucci
Biography
Dr. Fabio Minicucci is the Head of the Department of the Epilepsy Center of the Neurophysiology Department at the San Raffaele Research Hospital under the direction of Professor Massimo Filippi.
In 1980, Dr. Minicucci graduated in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Milan (Università degli Studi di Milano), where he specialized in Neurology in 1985. In 1990 he held a position of visiting professor at Loyola University Chicago, USA.
Dr. Minicucci is also Head of the Regional Epilepsy Center and is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Specialization in Neurology at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (UniSR).
Dr. Minicucci is focused on the study of epilepsy and, in particular, status epilepticus. In this specific field of neuroscience, he is one of the keynote speakers at national conferences and courses, as well as the first author of guidelines on epilepsy and emergency neurology.
In his research activities, Dr. Minicucci focuses on the treatment of epilepsy and neurophysiological diagnostics. He is the author and co-author of over 40 scientific articles published in national and international journals. His H index is 21.
