Biography

Dr. Federica Furfaro is a gastroenterologist at the Department of Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at the Ospedale San Raffaele directed by Professor Silvio Danese.

After graduating in medicine and surgery in 2007, she specialized in Gastroenetrology and Digestive Endoscopy in 2012 and received a PhD in 2015.

To date, she is practicing at the Gastroenterology Outpatient Clinic and is involved in digestive endoscopy and abdominal, bowel and transperineal ultrasound.

Dr. Furfaro specializes in treatment of chronic inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Federica Furfaro is sub-investigator and principal investigator of several observational and interventional clinical trials, especially for patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease.
