Luca Villa

Dr. Luca Villa is a urologist in the Department of Urology at the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele under the supervision of Professor Francesco Montorsi.

After graduating in 2009 from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Vita Salute San Raffaele University of Milan, he received a specialization in urology at the same university in 2015.

He is one of the founders of the Progress in Endourology, Technology and Research Association (PETRA) group and received the Advanced Clinical Training Certification in Endourology/Stone" from the Endourological Society in 2015.

Dr. Villa performs daily outpatient and surgical operations, dealing with the most common problems in the field of urology, in particular, minimally invasive endoscopic treatment of patients suffering from urolithiasis and cancer of the upper urinary tract.

The area of research that is of the greatest interest to Dr. Villa concerns the study of patients suffering from urolithiasis and the use of new technologies to optimize minimally invasive endoscopic treatment of patients with neoplasia passing into the upper urinary tract.

He is the author of more than 40 original scientific articles published in national and international journals. His Hirsch index is 11. He constantly participates as a speaker and moderator at national and international industry conferences.
