Massimo Soresina

Dr Massimo Soresina is a plastic surgeon at Casa di Cura La Madonnina. His main activity is the surgical treatment of lymphedema.

He graduated in medicine and surgery at the University of Milan in 2003 and five years later he specialized in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery at the same university.

In 2006, he attended the D.I.U."Techniques Microchirurgicales" at the Université Henri Poincaré, Faculté de Médecine de Nancy (France), then in 2008 "Cours d'Anatomie Chirurgicale des Lembeaux, D.U. d'Anatomie Chirurgicale des Lembeaux" and Laboratoire d'Anatomie Médico-Chirurgicale, Universitè Victor Segalen, Faculté de Médecine Hyacinthe Vincent, Bordeaux (France).

In 2017, he worked with Dr. C. Becker in the field of lymphedema surgery in Paris, focusing on lymph node transplantation and ancillary operations.

In addition, in 2018, together with Dr Pierdenisa Giardini and Dr Andrea Menozzi, he founded the Centre for Lymphedema: a specialist centre for the diagnosis and treatment of primary and secondary lymphedema at the Casa di Cura La Madonnina Clinic (www.centrolinfedema.it).

Currently, Dr. Soresina is also the medical director of the Plastic Surgery Department of the ASST Fatebenefratelli Sacco Regional Health Facility in Milan.
