Maurilio Ponzoni

Maurilio Ponzoni is the Head of Pathology Department at Ospedale San Raffaele. He is also Full Professor of Pathology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Head of Haematopathology Department at Ospedale San Raffaele, and the Coordinator of Systematic Pathology Course of International MD program at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.

Reviewer of over 25.000 bone marrow biopsies and 5000 lymphomas, combining the use of microscopic examination and immunophenotyping.

Dr. Maurilio Ponzoni is the author of more than 380 papers indexed in PUBMED focused on hematopathology and coauthor of WHO blue book of Classification of Haematopoietic Tumours.

Member of board of directors of International Extranodal Lymphoma Study Group (IELSG). President of Pathology Committee within Italian Lymphoma Foundation (FIL) and member of several International Societies, including the American Society of Hematology, the European Haematology Association, the European Society of Haematopathology, and the US/Canadian Academy of Pathology.

Member of Editorial Board of several Scientific Journals.
