Paolo Vitali
Biography
Dr. Paolo Vitali is a neuroradiologist and head of diagnostic neuroradiology in the radiology service of the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
In 1994, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Genoa, where in 1998 he received a specialization in neurophysiopathology. In 2006, he received a specialization in radio diagnostics at the University of Milan, and from 2006 to 2008 he worked as a researcher at the University of California, San Francisco. From 2012 to 2015 he holds a doctorate in Neurology from the University of Pavia.
Dr. Vitali deals with degenerative diseases such as dementia and parkinsonism, as well as preoperative assessment of focal epilepsy.
His research activities focused on magnetic resonance techniques in Alzheimer's disease and preoperative functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), in epilepsy and tumors.
