Ophthalmology
The GSD Ophthalmology area is a national and international lreference center for clinical and research activities in the field of Ophthalmology. Ophthalmology services are available at 15 GSD facilities and cover all major cities of Lombardy, such as Milan, Monza, Brescia, Como, Bergamo, as well as Bologna.
Our physicians have received a specialized training in various fields of Ophthalmology that guarantee the patient a complete, cutting-edge and always up-to-date response in every field of specialization: oculoplastic, orbital and aesthetic surgery, anterior segment surgery, vitreoretinal surgery, chorioretinal dystrophies, ocular genetics, diseases of the cornea and ocular surface, glaucoma, immunopathology and ocular oncology, neuro-ophthalmology and clinical electrophysiology, retinal diseases, strabismus, and pediatric ophthalmology.
