Michele Gramazio
Biography
Dr. Michele Gramazio has been in charge of surgery and hip replacement since July 2017 in the Department of Joint Operative and Orthopedic Surgery (C.A.S.C.O.) of the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio, under the direction of Dr. Nicola Ursino.
In 1992, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Bari, where in 1998 he received a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology with a 50/50 mark with honors.
During his studies he was abroad at the Department of Orthopedics of the Medical Higher School in Hanover (Germany).
From 2000 to 2002, he held the position of Medical Director of the 1st level in the Department of Operative Orthopedics and Traumatology of the Ospedale Civile in Policoro (MT).
Since 2002, he has been the Medical Director of the Complex Structure for Orthopedic Surgery and Joint Rheumatism at Ospedale Santa Corona in Pietra Ligure (SV). In 2009, he became the Head of the Simple Structure Department of Hip Prosthetics.
Since 2010, he has been a professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology at the School of Physiotherapists of the University of Genoa.
During his career, he performed about 1400 interventions as the first surgeon, mainly in orthopedic surgery (hip and knee) and foot surgery.
He has participated in more than 250 courses and congresses, mostly national, concerning orthopedic prosthetic surgery, as well as a speaker.
