Marco Agnoletto
Biography
Dr. Marco Agnoletto is an orthopedist and traumatologist in the Department of Operative Joint Replacement Surgery and Orthopedic Surgery (c. A. S. C. O.) at the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi.
In 2012 he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University.
In 2018, he also received a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology at the University of Milan.
After completing his studies and obtaining a specialization, he takes an internship in the University team for Regenerative and Reconstructive Orthopedics (E.U.O.R.R.), in the GSpine4 team for vertebral surgery at Istituto Galeazzi and at the Ospedale Niguarda Trauma Center.
In 2015, he worked with Dr. Thomas J. Gill IV at Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Sports Medicine and Research Institute to deepen the knowledge of arthroscopic shoulder and knee surgery in athletes.
Dr. Agnoletto is a doctor in the field of orthopedic surgery, in particular the treatment of patients suffering from arthritic degeneration of the shoulder, hip and knee.
He is actively involved in clinical research on the biomechanics of knee prostheses and the field of tissue engineering.
He is also an adjunct professor at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, where he teaches tissue engineering and anatomy in English courses of the International Program of Doctor of Medicine and Biotechnology, respectively.
He teaches as an expert in this subject in three-year courses for a Master's degree in Physical Activity for Well-being and a Master of Technical Sciences and Sports Didactics at the University of Milan.
