Matteo Jacchini
Biography
Dr. Matteo Jacchini is the Head of the Department of Operative Orthopedics and Traumatology at the Istituto di Cura Città in Pavia.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of the University of Milan (1985), where a few years later he received a specialization in orthopedics and traumatology. During his career, he gained considerable experience in arthroscopic surgery of the knee, shoulder and ankle joints. He also pays special attention to reconstructive surgery, orthopedic surgery for extensor pathologies (knee, hip and shoulder) and surgery of the hand, foot and elbow.
The most important publications relate to: pulsating electromagnetic fields in false joints, laser treatment of meniscus lesions during arthroscopy, Ptg Consensus implant revision.
He is a member of important expert groups such as the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SIOT), and is a member of the Italian Society of Arthroscopy (SIA).
