Valeria Golzi

Dr. Valeria Golzi is Head of the Functional Department of the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation of Cognitive and Movement Disorders of the IRCCS Ospedale San Raffaele under the supervision of Dr. Sandro Iannaccone.

After receiving her degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Milan in 1991, Dr. Valeria Golzi specialized in neurology at the same institute in 1997. During her studies, she spent periods abroad, in particular, at the Center for Neuromuscular Diseases Research at the College of Physician & Surgeons of Columbia University in New York.

Dr. Golzi is mainly involved in the clinical diagnosis and rehabilitation of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and frontotemporal dementia and neurocognitive disorders. She also works as an outpatient at the Alzheimer's Assessment Unit in San Raffaele.

In the field of clinical research, she is a participant and coordinates several international multicenter clinical trials for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. She is the author and co-author of scientific publications in national and international journals.

Valeria Golzi is a member of the Scientific Society of Rehabilitation Specialists in Private Hospitals (ARSOP) and constantly participates in congresses and conferences of the industry.
