Front lift
What is it?
Front lift is a surgical procedure with which the signs of aging on the forehead and periocular, the upper part of the face, are corrected.
When is this procedure indicated?
The front lift is used to raise the shape of the eyebrows and smooth the forehead and periocular wrinkles.
How is it performed?
It is a surgical procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation, with duration varying from about 1 to 2 hours. It is possible to perform a frontal lifting contained through two incisions to the scalp you can get the retensioning of the forehead laterally and in the temporal area lifting also both the eyebrow and retensioning the periocular skin. Otherwise, through an access defined bicoronal, with scarring inside the scalp from one ear to the other, it is possible to lift the entire forehead, eyebrows and periocular area.
Recovery
Social life and working activity can be resumed after about a week avoiding physical exertion.
