The integrated type 1 diabetes adult and paediatric outpatient clinics at San Raffaele follow more than 3,000 patients with type 1 diabetes (Adult - 1,200, Paediatric - 1,800); while another 3,000 adult patients with type 2 diabetes are regularly followed-up at the type 2 diabetes clinic.
