Facial lipofilling (periorbital, zygomatic, nasogenic, lips and chin)
What is it?
Lipofilling is a special aesthetic-surgical procedure that involves the removal of fat from certain body areas such as the abdomen, hips, thighs, and its transfer to the face.
When is this procedure indicated?
Aging causes an alteration of the tissues of the face and neck with emptying of the volumes and thinning of the tissues, the appearance of wrinkles in the periocular area, deepening of the nasolabial grooves or depressions in the cheek area.
How is it performed?
It 'a surgical procedure that can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation with a duration ranging from about 30 to 60 minutes. Through mini incisions we perform the collection of adipose tissue for example from the abdominal area / hips / inner knees necessary for lipofilling. Then, after processing the fat tissue in a sterile environment, it can be injected into areas suitable for volume modelling such as the cheekbones, the mamal fold, the nasogenial fold, the lips, the chin, the periocular area and the nose.
Recovery
Social life and working activity can be resumed after about 1 week avoiding physical efforts.
