Biography
Dr. Antonio Popolo Rubbio is an interventional cardiologist in the Surgical Department of Interventional Cardiology and Hemodynamics, headed by Dr. Francesco Bedogni, at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato di Milano.
He received a degree in medicine and Surgery from the University of Catania in 2014.
In 2019, he received a specialization in cardiovascular diseases at the same university and is a researcher in Interventional Cardiology at the IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
Dr. Popolo Rubbio is an expert in the field of coronary and structural interventional cardiology, specializing in the diagnosis and percutaneous therapy of the mitral and aortic valves, closure of the oval foramen and left atrium.
He is the author and co-author of several articles in indexed journals (PubMed, Scopus), focusing on percutaneous treatment of mitral and aortic valvulopathy. He is also the author and co-author of 4 chapters in works on interventional cardiology.
