Cinzia Valenti
Biography
Dr Cinzia Valenti is the head of the Cardiology Service at Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo and cardiologist at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato.
In 1995, she graduates in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Pavia. In 2000, she obtains specialization in Cardiology.
She had a pre-graduate training period at the Medical Clinic I of the IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo Foundation in Pavia. During her studies in cardiology specialization school, she focuses on the autonomic nervous system. She carries out the studies in the laboratory of dysautonomias investigating the vasovagal syncopes followed by respective publications.
Then, she works as a medical director at the Istituto Clinico Humanitas in Rozzano.
This is followed by a subsequent period as medical director of the Cardiology Service at the Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo and head of the Rehabilitation Cardiology Unit at the same institute.
She works as a full-time medical executive at the Pavia Ospedale di Voghera.
From 2013 to the present day, she is the head of Istituto Clinico Beato Matteo.
In addition to the publications related to studies conducted on dysautonomia, she later writes publications regarding studies performed on silent ischemia in diabetic patients.
