Claudia Menicanti

Dr. Claudia Menicanti is a dermatologist at the Istituto Dermoclinico Vita Cutis at the Palazzo della Salute – Wellness Clinic.

In 2011, she graduated from the University of Milan with the highest score in Medicine and Surgery, and in 2019 she specialized in dermatology and venereology at the same university.

During her studies, she gained various experiences abroad. In the summer of 2007, as a visiting student, she spent two months at the New York University (NYU) Hospital in New York City in the Departments of Cardiac Surgery and Anesthesia. In April 2008, she won an Erasmus scholarship for the 2008/2009 academic year at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid.

In September 2008 she moved to Madrid where she completed her fourth year of medicine while working at Hospital La Paz in Madrid.

In June 2015, she won the Caputo Award established by the European Dermatological Institute (IDE), which allowed her to participate in the ESPD 2015 Summer School Congress in Lausanne.

In October 2014, she was included in the Young Postgraduate Observation Program at one of the most renowned dermatology centers in the world, the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at New York University.

From January to March 2018, she attended the Department of Dermatopathology at Hospital Fundacion Jimenez Diaz in Madrid with Professor Luis Requena, a world-renowned expert dermatologist.
