Silvio Luigi Taschieri
Biography
Professor Silvio Luigi Taschieri is a dentist in the Operative Department of Odontostomatology at the IRCCS Ospedale Galeazzi - Sant'Ambrogio.
In 1993, he graduated from the University of Milan with honors in Medicine and Surgery, where in 1996 he received a specialization in odontostomatology and qualified as a surgeon. Until 1997, he served as Chief of Health Services as Medical Officer in the 1st Transfer Regiment – European Power Projections (International Operational Readiness 48 hours). Under agreement with the IRCCS Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi from 2013 to the present day – Researcher in University of Milan.
He has been eligible for a Group II National Science Qualification since July 2017 and a Group I National Science Qualification since September 2018. He performs clinical and research practice.
The field, mainly carried out at the clinical level, concerns:
- regeneration of oral tissues
- osseointegration of dental implants together with endodontic microsurgery
In the course of his research activities, he has deeply studied issues related to:
- microsurgical methods in dentistry
- clinical or laboratory studies of osseointegration of implants
He is a professor at I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University. Author of more than 200 indexed international articles and as many articles in national journals, speaker at 200 conferences and, finally, author of 15 chapters in books.
