Nephrology and Dialysis Units deal with diagnose and treatment of kidney diseases, also provides chronic dialysis patients with uremia.
Our units consist of inpatient wards, extracorporeal hemodialysis centers, peritoneal dialysis centers, outpatient clinics to monitor arterial blood pressure and hypertension, stones, general nephrology, renal insufficiency, glomerulonephritis, rare kidney and electrolyte diseases.
Primary field of scientific research of Nephrology and Dialysis specialists is identification of the relationship between the patient's genetic characteristics and his/her pathology. Thus, genetics, associated with the clinical-instrumental observation of the patient, is providing considerable support to the daily clinical practice.
